Excuse me….I left my pearls back in America.  My name is Keisha Cassel. Straight, lower/working class, African American Major: Music  Minor: Psychology…Concentration: Social and Developmental  I am the Vice President of the Orchestra Board and a Student Manager at the CC Cafe. I am  recognized as an independent student by Smith and the federal goverement and I work to put myself through school. Even with all of these things on my plate, I maintain a  3.5 gpa.Why wouldn’t I go to Smith? Smith College has been producing the world’s movers and shakers since the doors opened in 1871. I am Smith!
